Friday July 4, 2025!
For couples who love baseball, fireworks, and high-energy date nights
This year, Spartanburg’s fireworks celebration is debuting a brand-new location at Fifth Third Park, home of the Spartanburgers!
What to Expect:
Live music
A Spartanburgers home game
Post-game fireworks on the field (blanket seating only!)
Time: Game starts around 4:35 PM; fireworks at 9:15 PM

2. Feedom Blast
June 28, 2025!
Freedom Blast Saturday, June 28, 2025 6:00pm - 10:30 pm Greer City Park
The City of Greer honors the veterans and service members of the U.S. Armed Forces for their unwavering dedication to preserving the freedoms we hold dear. Guests enjoy live music, food vendors, patriotic murals, and a Kids Zone with games and activities. A highlight of the festival is the Salute to the Armed Forces and Veterans, which takes place on the Main Stage as a tribute to those who serve.
Notable traditions include eating contests, the presence of Sarge the Eagle mascot, and performances. The event concludes with one of the largest fireworks displays in South Carolina, celebrating freedom and those who defend it.

July 3, 2025!
This celebration will take place at Unity Park on July 3, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm! The fireworks will begin at 9:30 pm.
Bring a picnic dinner, and enjoy a wonderful celebration!
Parking is very limited at Unity Park, so attendees are encouraged to park at one of the downtown garages and hop on the free downtown trolley, operated by Greenlink, for shuttle service to and from the event. Live music will take place at 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm with the Honor Guard, and 7:45 pm with the 246 Army Band.
Food options will also be limited at Unity Park with some options available from local food trucks. You are welcome to bring your own food and drink; however, no alcohol is allowed.

Thursday July 3, 2025!
For couples who prefer a quieter, more low-key celebration on
Thursday, July 3rd. Grab your lawn chair and join us for food, sweets, inflatables, and fireworks to celebrate America’s Independence!
Time: The parking lot will open at 7:30pm, and fireworks will start after sunset, around 9:30pm.
What to Expect:
Easy parking
Fireworks around 9:30 PM
A calm, relaxed setting—perfect if you’re not big on crowds or noise
*Bring your favorite snacks and make it a nostalgic car-date night.

5. Plan Your Own Backyard Bash
If you’re hosting out-of-town family or having a wedding planning staycation, turn July 4 into an at-home celebration.
Ideas include:
A DIY sparkler send-off (practice for the wedding!)
Red, white, and blue mocktails or cocktails
